Well-off fashion-buffs will be able to have Japanese-style weddings soon, with tailor-made services, eastday.com reported today.
Wedding Story Company Limited, a Japan-based wedding-planning company, has recently taken a  Western-style garden house on Gaoyou Road, on a ten-year lease contract, with investment of 20 million yuan (US$2.5 million).
Compared with other wedding companies, WeddingStory boasts of a ceremony hall, banquet hall, wedding-robe store and two open gardens with water pools. Couples can enjoy one-stop services of  wedding dress selection, taking pictures and holding ceremonies, with beauticians, cameramen, planners and advisers from Japan offering one-on-one services to them, said the CEO of WeddingStory. "We will serve two couples at most every day," he said.
The site can accomodate around 100 attendants, with a price of 118,888 yuan covering all the above services.
The company held a presentation yesterday, inviting 18 prospective couples to watch, ten of whom paid 8,000 yuan as a deposit for their weddings to be held in either May or October.
Five couples said yesterday they wanted time to consider. "The price is too high, and we want to have wedding pictures taken wearing our own outfits to cut the cost, but the company didn't agree," said a groom.
