Changhong to market portable DVD players

The Sichuan Changhong Electronics (Group) Corp, one of the leading
domestic home appliance giants, will market portable DVD players both
domestically and overseas, according to a recent news conference, eastday.com
reported today.
Changhong's high-tech portable DVD players are high-end
products in the DVD sector, said an industry analyst.
Portable DVD
players are hard to manufacture and only a few enterprises around the world are
able to do so, the analyst said. The market for the portable DVD players has
developed slowly due to high prices, the analyst added.
The Changhong AV
Company, a division of Changhong, is capable of producing the entire range of
portable DVD players from 4.5 inches to 15 inches, making it the audio and video
company with the most types and latest designs nationwide.
Changhong will
export a large number of audio and video products to the overseas market this
year and will boost domestic sales with new high-tech products, according to
Changhong.
