The Sichuan Changhong Electric Co. Ltd, China's leading home appliance producer, staged a national promotion yesterday, unveiling more than 20 new high-end TV products, homeway.com reported.
This is the company's biggest promotional program since its new ceo  Zhao Yong took the post from his predecessor Ni Runfeng.
The new models for the "Red October" promotion, which will last through the weeklong National Day holiday, are in the three product lines of digital high-definition television (HDTV) sets, digital rear-project TVs and digital liquid crystal display (LCD) products.
The products include seven 15-30 inch models that use the sixth-generation LCDs, seven digital HDTVs that have adopted 1080P standards, and three large-screen Cathode-ray tube (CRT) rear-projection TVs that also enable DVD player functions.
