An international oriental forum for tumor-targeted therapy, the first of its kind, was held in Shanghai yesterday, attracting more than 200 experts, scholars and doctors from home and abroad.
The forum was jointly sponsored by the International Association of Tumor Targeted Therapy (IATTT), the Shanghai Anticancer Society, the Oriental Hospital affiliated with Tongji University and the Tumor journal. Famous experts from the US-based MD Anderson Cancer Center and the National Cancer Institute delivered speeches at the forum.
On the same day, a tumor research institute, established by the Oriental Hospital and Hong Kong-based Hokai Group, was unveiled.
