Traditional medicine used in SARS treatment

A group of traditional Chinese medicine experts provided long-distance
consultation for the three probable SARS patients quarantined at Shanghai
Infectious Disease Hospital yesterday.
The experts gave suggestions on
using traditional Chinese medicine to treat the three patients and to enhance
curative effects in general. They also discussed SARS treatment combining
western and traditional Chinese medicine.
Several experts in traditional
Chinese medicine have taken part in diagnosing and treating SARS patients
on-site at the quarantine ward.
Vice mayor Yang Xiaodu was present at the
distance consultation and discussion yesterday.
