Hospitals cry for Paramedic

Graduate from medical schools becomes the pet in the labor market since the SARS outbreak and boasting a hight employment rate. Today's Wen Hui Daily reported.

Learn from Shanghai Second Medical Universityl, the employment rate of the graduate and undergraduate students reached 98.86% and 92.28% respectively,M higher than the average rate of the local college and universities, Paramedic are in great need in the labor market .All the graduate from the nursing department have been hired ,said Wang Fuming,the section chief of the student affair department of Shanghai Second Medical University

He also said, some third class hospitals cry for high-qualified paramedics holding a undergraduate diploma since most of the paramedics on the front-line graduate from technical secondary schools and this may change the misconception regarding nursing as a appendant of doctors which is a disparte field and reqiring high-qualified professionals.
