Townspeople can get a proffessional exercise prescription charging
only 1 or 2 yuan in the community instead of spending hundreds yuan to go all
the way to the gymnasium, informed from the colony department of Shanghai
Phsical Culture Bureau. Today's Morning Post reported.
The existing 1
disrict health supervision center and 20 community center will doubled by the
end of 2003 and will cover allover Shanghai by 2005 to ensure the citizen a
in-door health servic, said Wang Jiajing, a deputy director from the colony
department of Shanghai Phsical Bureau.
The Shanghai Physical Supervisor
Association was established yeasterday to provide proffessional training and
examination for the phsical supervisors. A alegitimate health supervisor should
possess the proffessional certificate awarded by the government after no less
than 80 hour's training and passed the unified test, and the troop of 8,000 will
expanded to some one in a thousand of the permanent residents in
Shanghai.
The health supervision center is also responsible of collecting
the citizen's health condition to assist Shanghai Health Supervison Burea to
establish a related database and a "health file", aiming at formulating the
physical exercise programme for entire citizen.
