Gvernment stands by the low-price drugstore

After submitted the GSP application and affirmed by the government,
the nationwide discount chain drugstore Kaixinren is confident of the massive
low-price strategy.
Shanghai Drug Administration denoted definitely in
the related document that the government will support the pharmacies as well as
providing instructions and overall arrangement.
"Since we carried out the
industrail act to lower drug prices, the government has attatched great
improtance to the strategy", said Liu Junjie, the board chairman of Kaixinren."
We are also affirmed by the officals from Shanghai Drug Administration after an
overall survey." added Liu.
Despite the support of the government,
low-price drugstores is confronting an unsound competition. Some large drug
plants are unwilling to supply or scream for markup otherwise they will suspend
their supply.
"Anyway, we will carry through the price cut strategy."
said Liu confidently.
