Retired official sets up management science foundation

The management
science foundation of Fudan University was established September 25, by means of
grants from retired vice premier Li Lanqing.
The foundation, which is
devoted to the promotion of China's management science, will annually reward
specialists who make contributions to management science.
Mr Li has donated
all his earnings from his latest two books to establish this fund; he was
elected president of the foundation. Cheng Siwei, vice chairman of the Standing
Committee of the National People's Congress, serves as its vice
president.
