More overseas training for medical students

Local medical
institutes are cooperating more and more with their foreign counterparts in
terms of language training and course exchanges.
At the medical technical
institute of Shanghai Jiaotong University and a medical school affiliated to the
Medical School of Shanghai Jiaotong University, 22 percent of students now
receive training both from home and overseas, with 16 graduates selected for
scholarships to study at an Australian university.
The two schools have
extended cooperation with counterparts in 11 countries, including the UK and the
US, over the past few years.
