Hong Kong Lingnan University will enroll 80 students from Shanghai for its
two-year college programs this July, the Xinmin Evening News reported.
The local students will begin their studies in September, with the first year
spent in Shanghai and the second year in Hong Kong.
In exchange, the university will dispatch second-year Hong Kong students to
Shanghai for a one-semester stay.
Local applicants must have completed their high school education and passed
the subjects of Chinese, English and math.
Tuition fees for the local students will be the same as for the school's Hong
Kong students, the report said, 40,000 yuan (US$4,837) for the first year and
50,000 yuan for the second year.
