BeeBee playland opens in Shanghai

The Shanghai BeeBee Parent-Child Education Centre opened Saturday at the Grand Gateway Plaza in Xujiahui Commercial Complex.

The center, consisting a parent-child club and a educational center, offers pre-school educations to kids between six-month and six-year old.

The early childhood education and care program was designed by th Hong Kong Victoria Educational Organization based on advanced parent-child education theories, and was proven successfully in Hong Kong, according to the center's official.

Its varied curriculums from physical and language traning, arts and music, to create thinkings aim to help infants build self-confidence while learn to respect others. Kids may acquire some social skill, and more important, a curisour atttitude towards the world. A 12-lesson bilingual intergrated course costs 1200 for each kid.

The center is sponsored by Madam Tan Fu-Yun, formerly the Vice Chairperson of the All China Women's Federation .

Vice Director Zuo Hunchen of the Shanghai Political Consultative Conference and Chairwoman Men Yankun of the Shanghai Women's Federation presented the opening ceremony.
