Domestic university students willing to serve for China's West can enjoy ten
additional marks to their total scores when they sit for the preliminary
examination of post-graduate programs, the Ministry of Education announced
yesterday.
Volunteers who complete their services in China's West and pass
the related examinations can get ten additional marks to their total scores if
they attend the post-graduate test within three years after their services,
according to the regulation.
Priority will be offered to the volunteers if in
other aspects, they have the same qualifications as the other candidates, said
an industry analyst.
Service certificate and appraisal paper should be
demonstrated when signing up for the examination, he indicated.
