Sign ups for next year's Spring College Entrance Examination will start in
the city soon. Thirteen local universities plan to recruit 2,330 students, up
more than 200 from last year, today's Laodong Daily reported.
Among the 2,330
students, 1,340 will pursue undergraduate programs while 990 are expected to get
junior college diplomas after graduation.
According to the Ministry of
Education, except for third-year high school students and those expelled from
universities or colleges this year, all students meeting the requirements of
attending the National College Entrance Examination and with permanent local
residence, or persons with specialized skills from outside the district and
their children holding local residence permits for at least one year, are
allowed to sit for the exam.
The sign-up dates will be November 27 and 28
(8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.). The examination will be
held on December 18 and 19.
Candidates should sign up at the college
recruitment offices of their permanent residences (employees will go to the
offices of their companies). Those who have already sat for this year's autumn
college entrance examination are required to bring their original exam admission
permits to sign up.
