The Shanghai Municipal Informatization Commission recently declared the
opening of an online family classroom for local youngsters, reported today's
Oriental Morning Post.
Attaching to an official website which provides local
residents with services on family education, psychology counseling and
protection for the youngsters, the online family classroom aims to build a
database to offer more and detailed helps on law assistance and rights and
interests protection for the young.
As one of ten government projects
in 2005, over 100,000 Communist Youth League members will become the first
visitors to this classroom.
Local youngsters, aging from 14 to 35, can apply
for an account in this specific online family classroom. The Identity card
and the social security card are necessary for application.
