Roads to get face lift

The Municipal
Engineering Administration Bureau of the Jing'an District has recently approved
a renovation project for five scenic roads in the District, reported today's
Oriental Morning Post.
According to the Bureau, Weihai Rd (the block between
Chengdu Rd and Yan'an Rd); Maoming Rd (between Nanjing Rd and Yan'an Rd);
Shan'xi Rd (between Beijing Rd and Yan'an Rd); Wuning Rd S. (between Changshou
Rd and Wanhangdu Rd) and Wulumuqi Rd N. (between Changshu Rd and Wanhangdu Rd)
will all be improved.
The project includes the refinishing of building
exteriors, the unification of the signs and street lamps, and the upgrading of
trolley wires and green lands.
Construction will begin during early June and
will be finished by the end of
September.
