Shanghai will renovate nearly 10 million square meters of glass-curtain-walls on 2,300 of its existing buildings because of safety concerns, according to the Shanghai Housing and Land Resources Bureau on August 18.
The renovation will focus on glass-curtain-walls that were established more than ten years ago, those lacking safety glass or those with possible quality issues.
