Star-rated parks increase by 19

Nineteen parks and public green belts were added to the list of star-rated
parks in Shanghai, bringing the total to 29, the Shanghai Greenland
Administration announced recently.
At the end of last year, the
administration revealed its first list of 10 star-rated parks in the city,
including Century Park, Yu Yuan Garden and Jing'an Park.
The 19 newcomers
to the list were selected recently by landscape, environment and gardening
experts.
Among them, 16 are parks and three are newly built public green
areas - the Lujiazui Center Greenland, the New Hongqiao Center Garden and the
Changshou Garden.
