Yuyuan Garden gets face-lift

The two-year face-lift project on the eastern part of Yuyuan Garden was
completed yesterday.
The Yuyuan Administration spent two years on the
project starting in 2001. It revamped the eastern section and added two
Qing-style pavilions.
The two pavilions, with a tiny waterfall and the
canal and central pond in the background, are typical of the Qing dynasty
"pavilion-water" architectural style.
