Shanghai to build new cruise line dock
14/7/2003 15:10
The first cruise line dock in China will debut in four years as two local
companies plan to finish a 1.2-billion-yuan dock project in Shanghai by
2008. The emergence of a new cruise line dock here will also turn the city
into an international ocean passenger liner center in the near future. The
China National Chemical Export & Import Corporation (SinoChem) and the
Shanghai Real Estate (Group) Co, the joint winners in the bidding for the dock
project, will be responsible for both the investment and
construction.
