Doping scandal coach gets home confinement

Athletics coach Trevor Graham who was disgraced for doping scandals
yesterday was sentenced to one year of home confinement for lying to federal
sports doping investigators.
Graham was involved in a doping scandal which eventually took down his former
famous proteges Marion Jones, Tim Montgomery and several other elite athletes.
Former elite American cyclist Tammy Thomas received a similar sentence of six
months of home detention for lying to a grand jury about her steroid use.
Baseball star Barry Bonds is slated to stand trial in March on similar
charges.
