Spain has become the world leader in tennis following its Sunday triumph
at the Davis Cup final, in which it defeated Argentina in Mar del Plata.
Spanish players have collected 16 team or individual championships this
season, including the three coveted titles won by Rafael Nadal in Roland Garros
(France), Wimbledon (England) andthe Beijing Olympic Games.
Nadal, who tops the world rankings, has scored 32 consecutive victories and
the Spanish tennis has located 10 players among the world top 60 rankings.
