The broadcasting rights of the 2010 African Nations Cup to be held in
Angola have been reserved for the "Sport 5" Telecom Agency, organizers said
yesterday.
Manuel Mariano, director for information, publicity and marketing of the
African Nations Cup Organizing Committee (COCAN), told reporters that the agency
with offices in several parts of the world has inked an agreement for exclusive
transmission with the African Confederation of Football (CAF).
The 2010 African Nations Cup will be played in four Angolan cities - Luanda,
Benguela, Lubango and Cabinda, where new stadiums and telecom facilities are
being put in place.
