Finland's Mikko Ilonen snatched the title of Indonesia Open 2007 golf tournament after one-under-par 70 in the final round this weekend.

He carded a total of 275 to win the co-sanctioned European PGA Tour/Asian Tour golf tournament, which is held in Damai Indah Golf and Country Club, Jakarta.

"It's a kind of a surprise that I could win the tournament. The golf course is really tough. I felt really good when it was over and I had won the tournament," he was quoted Monday by English daily The Jakarta Post as saying.

The 27-year-old played consistently throughout the last round, which was suspended for about an hour due to thunderstorms. Ilonen had taken a two-stroke lead with a 10-under-par 274 before bogeying his last hole.

The pack of Shiv Kapur of India, Andrew Tampion of Australia and Frankie Minoza of the Philippines finished just behind at 276.

Ilonen said Sunday's result was not his top form, saying he needed to polish his shots and putts and play more confidently.

Sharing third place were Suk Jong-yul of South Korea and Thammanoon Srirot of Thailand with 279.
