Turkey wins 4 golds at World Taekwondo Championships

Turkey won four gold and two bronze medals at the Hearing-Impaired World Taekwondo Championships, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported yesterday.
In the championships held at France's Toulouse city, Turkish men won three gold and two bronze medals while 49-kg athlete Tugba Serim became the world champion in the women's category.
In men's category, 58kg Muhammed Guler, 68kg Serkan Sagir and 80kg Osman Gecit won gold medals while 68kg Nimet Can Copuroglu and 80kg Kemal Tokgoz won bronze medals.
Turkey ranked first on the medal tally in the World Taekwondo Championships, attended by Turkey for the first time in its history.
