The player is recovering from an arthroscopic surgery he had at the end of May. His intensive physical therapy in Sao Paulo is paying off and the player is anxious to get back.

"I have been in Sao Paulo for the last month working hard on myphysical therapy at the Reffis center," he said. "The professional treatment that I am receiving is excellent and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them publicly. With their help, I hope to return to the practice field in 15 days."
