3 seeded players sail into Dutch Open quarterfinals

Second seeded Jose Acasuso of Argentina, No. 4 seed Marcel Granollers and
No. 5 seed Albert Montanes -- both from Spain -- all easily sailed into the
quarterfinals of the 326,000-euro Dutch Open in Amersfoort, the Netherlands,
yesterday.
In the second round of the clay tournament, the 54-ranked Acasuso
beat Frenchman Edouard Roger-Vassel in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.
The 57-ranked
Granollers defeated compatriot Ivan Navarro 6-4, 6-4, while Montanes sent
Uruguayan Palbo Cuevas packing also in straight sets.
Meanwhile, unseeded
Spaniard Oscar Hernandez whipped Dutch wild card Jesse Huta Galung 6-3, 6-4 to
book a spot in the quarter-finals.
