Real Madrid have agreed to sell striker Roberto Soldado to Getafe, Getafe
President Angel Torres told Spanish radio station Cadena Ser yesterday.
The 23-year-old Soldado, who has one Spain cap, only started one game for
Real Madrid last season. He had returned to the club following a successful loan
spell at Osasuna, where he scored 11 goals in 30 appearances.
Torres said Soldado would sign a four-year deal with Getafe and that he would
sign his contract today.
Meanwhile Osasuna have announced the signing of former Barcelona striker
Santi Ezquerro on a free transfer.
Ezquerro, whose contract at Barcelona expired at the end of last season, has
agreed to a two-year contract with Osasuna, with an option of a third year at
the club where he began his professional career.
He has also played for Atletico Madrid and Athletic Club Bilbao.
