ZSVA cancels youth championship

The Zone Six Volleyball Association (ZSVA) has cancelled the youth
championship which Zambia was scheduled to host, the Post newspaper reported
today.
Zambia Volleyball Association (ZAVA) secretary Charles Haambote was
quoted as saying that ZSVA decided to cancel the tournament initially slated for
last month due to logisitical problems.
He said the Zone Six Games were meant
to select a team for the Africa qualifying championship which took place last
month in Algeria.
Haambote also said ZAVA will start distributing sports
equipment to schools at the end of this month.
