Indonesian female racer lacking in sponsorship for Italy championship

Indonesian female racer Alexandra Asmasoebrata was likely to cancel her
participation in the Italian World Final Rotax Max Challenge next November due
to lacking sponsorship. "Therefore we are still socializing her possible
participation in Italy while waiting for supporting sponsorship," the manager of
Alexandra Asmasoebrata Management (AAM) Dewi told Xinhua today. Alexandra won
the national karting championship, and grasped at the second position of the
Asian karting Open Championship (AKOC), and was subjected to represent
Indonesian for the Italian world final rotax max challenge next
November. "She earned 345 points from five series of national racing
championship through the year of 2008. Now she is facing another challenge which
is more demanding in Rotax max Challenge next November. Hope, the government of
Indonesia would soon support Alexandra," she said. Previously, the two
ministries, namely Indonesian tourism and culture ministry and sports and youth
gave financial contribution for every events Alexandra participated in. "She
is the only female racer who participate in the coming event in Italy. This is a
good chance for improving Indonesian branding and promotion through a rare
performance of female racer in world level championship," she
said.
