Terry, Cole out of England's squad against Belarus
14/10/2008 17:28

Due to injury, John Terry, Ashley Cole and backup goalkeeper Robert Green have been ruled out of England's World Cup qualifying away game against Belarus tomorrow.
Terry missed Saturday's 5-1 victory over Kazakhstan because of a lingering back problem. Cole, who was booed by the England fans for a blunder that handed the visitors their only goal, has picked up a hamstring injury.
Green reported for training yesterday with soreness in his knee and the team decided not to take him to Minsk for the game. Scott Carson, whose blunder in England's 3-2 loss to Croatia last November cost the team a place at Euro 2008, will be on the bench against Belarus.
Rio Ferdinand led England for the game at Wembley and is expected to do the same in Minsk yesterday as the team bids to make it four wins out of four in Group 6 play.
