Higgins wins British Grand Prix

Scotland's John Higgins edged Ryan Day from Wales to win the British Grand
Prix snooker event 9-7 in Clasgow. Higgins was off to a 7-2 lead in the best
of 17 frame final before Day staged an amazning comeback to take five of the
next six frames. But Higgins eventually converted his advantage to victory,
claiming his fourth Grand Prix title. It was his first trophy since his
second World Championship victory in May 2007, and his 19th ranking title in
all.
