9/12/2008 16:50

The World Junior Wushu Championships was unveiled today in Bali as eight teams had withdrawn from the competition, a local paper said.
The Bali event is going to last to Dec. 14 at Westin Hotel Nusa Dua Bali, with 22 gold medals on offer.
Forty-three teams took part in the championships after the withdrawal of eight.
Defending champion China, as well as the United States, will field a full squad of 20 athletes, the maximum allowed by the organizer.
Indonesia dispatched 17 athletes, with 11 to compete in taolu (artistic event) and six in san shou (fighting event).
In the inaugural event in Malaysia in 2006, China won most of the medals, taking home 16 golds and one silver, followed by Vietnam. Indonesia won one gold and three silvers in that tournament.
