Iraqi police find nine executed bodies in Baghdad

Iraqi police patrols found nine bodies in execution-style in several
locations in Baghdad, a police source said today.
"Police patrols found nine
blind-folded and bound bodies in several neighborhoods in Baghdad," Captain
Ahmed Abdullah from Baghdad police told Xinhua.
The dead were tortured before
shot with bullets in head and chest, he said.
The finding of the bodies came
as Iraq is marking on Monday the third anniversary of the US-led invasion of
Iraq, which is under mounting sectarian tension between Shiite and Sunni
communities.
