Russian cargo airplane crashes near Phnom Penh

A Russian cargo airplane has crashed some 20 kilometers south of the Phnom
Penh International Airport, a Cambodian civil aviation official said in Phnom
Penh today. The accident happened around 10:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday.
One co-pilot of the five crew members was injured, said the official on
condition of anonymity. The craft was bound for Singapore, he added, without
providing further details. A press conference will be held by the civil
aviation authority on Thursday morning at the airport to clarify the
accident.
