A Russian cargo airplane has crashed some 20 kilometers south of the Phnom Penh International Airport, a Cambodian civil aviation official said in Phnom Penh today.
The accident happened around 10:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday. One co-pilot of the five crew members was injured, said the official on condition of anonymity.
The craft was bound for Singapore, he added, without providing further details.
A press conference will be held by the civil aviation authority on Thursday morning at the airport to clarify the accident.
