Taliban have denied link to attack on former Pakistani Prime Minister
Benazir Bhutto that left more then 100 people dead last week, a local Afghan
newspaper reported today.
"Taliban do not attack outside Afghanistan and were not involved in attack on
Benazir Bhutto in Karachi city of Pakistan," Daily Outlook quoted a Taliban
commander Mullah Hayatullah Khan assaying.
The bloody bomb attack shocked Karachi city of Pakistan last Thursday night,
in which some 140 persons were killed and around 500 others were injured when
thousands of people were receiving Benazir Bhutto.
The ex-Pakistani Premier who returned home after eight years in exile has put
the attack on Taliban insurgents and al-Qaida operatives active in the region.
