Egyptian military engineers arrive in Darfur

A contingent of 126 Egyptian engineers arrived yesterday in El Fasher, in
Sudan's Darfur region, a UN press release quoted the joint United
Nations-African Union peacekeeping mission (UNAMID) as saying.
They are to
join 83 personnel already deployed in the area, and UNAMID said it is expected
to come up to its full strength of 335 staff in the next few days.
