The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) has begun restoring its main
nuclear reactor in Yongbyon, South Korea's Yonhap News Agency reported
yesterday.
The DPRK began to restore the nuclear facilities in Yongbyon earlier in the
day, Yonhap quoted an unnamed South Korean Foreign Ministry official as saying.
The DPRK announced on Aug. 26 that it has suspended disablement of the
nuclear facilities and warned it would consider to restart them as the US side
failed to implement its promises under previous agreements reached at the
six-party talks on the nuclear issues of the Korean Peninsula.
