Russian police kill terrorist gang chief: reports

The Russia police have killed a terrorist gang leader and nine of his
companies in the Caucasus republic of Dagestan, Itar-Tass news agency reported
today, citing local official. "The gang got caught in an ambush, staged by
men of the special task group of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia"
and their mini-bus was fired by a grenade launcher, said a spokesperson of the
local FSB department. One police was wounded during the operation and died
later in hospital, he said. The identity of the dead has been checked as from
the group of Navruzov-Ragimkhanov, the so-called emir of Dagestan, said the
spokesman.
