18/9/2008 17:59

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari will meet with US President George W. Bush next week on the sidelines of a UN conference to discuss new strategy on anti- terrorism.
Zardari will leave for New York on Sept. 22 to lead Pakistan at the 63rd session of the United Nations General Assembly, said Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi at a press conference in Islamabad today.
During the visit, Zardari is scheduled to meet with Bush and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Qureshi said.
Zardari and Bush are expected to talk about their anti- terrorism strategy and try to ease the tension due to recent US cross-border attacks from Afghanistan.
