Saudi Arabia to set up embassy in Nepal

Saudi Arabia has announced it is to set up its embassy in Nepal within
this Nepali fiscal year, local newspaper The Kathmandu Post reported
today.
Nepali fiscal year starts in every mid-July.
The report quoted an
Saudi official as saying that the Saudi government plans to establish its
embassy in Nepali capital Kathmandu to resolve the problems of Nepali workers
and to strengthen bilateral ties with Nepal.
Every year, large number of
Nepali youths go to Saudi Arabia for foreign employment.
Currently, the Saudi
embassy in Bangladesh looks after affairs in Nepal.
