Iran's Foreign Ministry's Center for Printing and Publication has
published a book on the country's nuclear issue, the official IRNA news agency
reported yesterday.
The book named "National Nuclear Movement" was unveiled in a ceremony on
Tuesday in Tehran, IRNA said.
The book, which was written by Kazem Gharibabadi, has five chapters titled
"Foundations of Iran's Nuclear Activities," "Nuclear Energy, Today's Need,"
"Tomorrow's Necessity, Supreme Leader and Nuclear Issue," "Nuclear Issue Before
Ninth Government" and "Ninth Government's Nuclear Policies."
According to IRNA, Gharibabadi has devoted the book to the honorable people
of Iran, a nation which has firmly defended its beliefs, territorial integrity
and rights.
Gharibabadi said in the preface of the book that nuclear science and
technology is one of the most advanced fields in the world, with an undeniable
impact on the progress of science, adding that the West have resorted to fake
accusations to stop Iran's nuclear program.
The United States and its allies have accused Iran of developing nuclear
weapons, but Iran insists that its nuclear program is only for peaceful
purposes.
The UN Security Council has unanimously adopted Resolution 1835to reaffirm
its previous resolutions on Iran and demand full compliance from the Islamic
Republic.
It called on Iran, which till now has been under three UN sanctions over its
disputed nuclear program, "to comply fully and without delay with its
obligations" and to meet the requirements of the International Atomic Energy
Agency.
