UN chief's visit to Nepal to be fruitful: minister

Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Janardan Sharma today said that
United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon's visit to Nepal will assist to
bring the peace process to the logical end. Speaking at an interaction
program organized in Kathmandu, Sharma expressed his belief that the United
Nations will provide assistance for the long lasting peace in the country. He
said that the outcome of Ban's visit will prove to be very
fruitful. Meanwhile, Sharma claimed that favorable environment has been made
for the talks with the armed struggle groups of the southern Nepal's Terai
region. "It will be easy for the government to have talks with the united
group", Sharma said. He also informed that formal talks will be held within
some days. Sharma warned that the government will take strict action against
those who try to disintegrate the talk policy which is formed by keeping the
nationality in the center with the political groups.
