Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman met with visiting Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to enhance bilateral ties in the Omani capital of Muscat yesterday, the official Oman News Agency reported.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed aspects of existing cooperation between the two countries in different areas and means to enhance them, the report said.

The meeting also covered a number of international issues of mutual interests, the report added.

Singh arrived in Muscat on Saturday for a two-day official visit to the Gulf Arab country.
