US national killed by gunmen in NW Pakistan: TV

A foreigner, along with his driver, was killed by some unknown gunmen in
northwestern Pakistan today, private TV channel DAWN NEWS reported.
The
incident occurred on Jamaluddin Afghani Road in University Town area in
Peshawar, capital city of North West Frontier Province, said the report.
The
foreigner was a United States national and worked for a non- government
organization (NGO), according to DAWN NEWS.
There is no immediate claim of
responsibility for the killing.
A suicide bomber blew himself up at the main
gate of the Peshawar Sport Complex during at the concluding ceremony of the
inter-provincial games yesterday, leaving at least three dead and 20 others
injured.
