Armed men attack Philippine bus terminal, wounds 7

Six policemen were hurt and one bus conductor was serious burnt when armed
men trashed a bus terminal in northern Philippines last night, local media
reported today. According to local news network GMA News, police director
Superintendent Harris Fama of Lingayen town of Pangasinan province said one of
the six wounded policemen were in serious conditions in the brief exchange of
fires with around ten armed men with cal- .45 pistols. The suspects torched
five buses inside the terminal, leaving a bus conductor in sleep seriously
burnt, Fama said. Fama said the police have cooperated with the military to
pursue the suspects. No group has claimed responsibility for the
incident.
