Shanghai, Nov 2 - Defending champion Stephen Mocka from South Africa won the men's champion of Shanghai International Marathon on Nov 2, 2014, achieving the record of the event in a time of 2:08:43. He was also the first player finishing the race within 2:09 over the 19 years of Shanghai marathon. Meanwhile, Ethiopian competitor Tofa took the female crown with a record-breaking result of 2:21:52.

来自南非的卫冕冠军史蒂芬·莫克卡创造了上海国际马拉松赛新的赛会纪录——2小时08分43秒。他也是上马19年来首位跑进2小时09分的运动员。同时，女子全程冠军，来自埃塞俄比亚的德米斯·提吉斯特·图发也创造了新的赛会纪录，成绩是2小时21分52秒。
