The Seventh Chinese International Animation, Cartoon and Games Exposition opened its doors on Thursday in Expo 2010 China Pavilion, Shanghai.

More than 13.000 visitors entered the 26.000 m2 China Pavilion's first floor, on CCG Expo first day. Some of them came for games, others came for models in cartoon figure. 'I came here first for models, then for computer games', Huang Wen Bin visitor admitted by smiling.

The CCG Expo welcomes also younger players. 'There are a lot of children because of the end of the examinations. I think they are really happy to come here', told Don, from Creative Power Entertaining.

A total of 111 domestic and abroad exhibitors take part in this event. From Transformers thongs to a multitude of stands decorated with jewels, wigs, headbands and any sorts of accessories and clothes, Animation, Cartoon and Games fans walked around to find the best way to look like their favorite hero(ine). Apart from these stands, an important part of the CCG Expo is consecrated, of course, to video games, even for the kids.

Here's the best place to enjoy karaoke, dance or card games. You can also have fun in games area on redemption or arcade games. Every day, computer games competitions are organized. 'Every one can join the competition', explained Wang Guan Tournament Director from The Shanghai Interactive Television Co. Nevertheless, you must come with your CD.

One of CCG Expo problems was that the 'lunch part' of the Expo looked like a mini garbage dump on Thursday early afternoon. Everyone sat on the floor to eat and left their drinks and food behind them. Thirty tables were fitted out for 13.000 visitors, and trash cans were invisible. It was quickly clean by 4PM. 'We will think about this problem for the next year. But also 50% of Chinese people don't think of putting their trash to the bin', explained Cao Jun from the China National Center for Developing Animation, Cartoon and Game Industry CCG Expo organizer.

CCG Expo will last five days, until July 11th. 80.000 visitors are expected to enjoy its festive and offbeat atmosphere.

Ticket price is 50 yuan.
