2015-06-26 16:41

Shanghai, June 26- The two-day Lujiazui Forum 2015 kicked off this morning, David D. LI, Dean of Schwarzman Scholars at Tsinghua University gave a keynote speech at the 2nd plenary session. He thinks that emerging economies led by China will put forward series of financial reform measures and the best is yet to come.

China is beginning to realize a larger role it will play in global financial governance as the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank will be announced to be set up at the end of June this year. Also the BRICS New Investment Bank based in Shanghai will show its appearance this year. Li considers that the rise of emerging economies like China and the internationalization of the yuan will further stimulate the future global financial reform.

Series of reforms will be put forward in those emerging economies led by China. The best of the reform is coming, said Li. (Eastday/Jiang Wenran)
