In the three years that I have lived here in Shanghai, it is a very special place in my heart. It is a place where Canadians tend to come first, and the land first when they come to China, and that is because Shanghai is a very special city, one that has opened its arms to the rest of the world, and one that offers the vision and model to the rest of the world, of the promise that this country offers in terms of technology, in terms of excellent food, in terms of the traditional history and culture of this city and people, and it's a place that I call home today.
